Art Exhibit - food memories & dreams
After Susan had a vivid dream, she created a series of encaustic canvases with objects that reflected her life journey seen from the dinner table. The work takes us from her childhood on the Gold Coast of Long Island, to her coming-of-age in Manhattan during a time of Renaissance, to China in 1982, and to her move to a farmhouse in the Hudson River Valley before she landed in Marin, California. In 2013, she had a one-man show, Food Memories & Dreams, at the Gospel Flats Farm in Bolinas.
